  • Pattern of Teaching Learning and Evaluation:
  • From 2019 : CBCS , Semester System, Internal Evaluation of  30 marks is done by the College through tests, orals, seminars, assignments etc., and External Evaluation of 70 marks is done by the SPP University, Pune.

            Being initiated in 1984 the department of geography experiences a steep growth and presently has faculty strength four members and students strength of 60. We envision that   the department will continue to built reputation as one of the leading under graduate geography program under the SPPU University Pune. In the area of mapping science, Geographical studies, Environmental studies, Geographical data analysis and Land surveying. Geography will work to maintain, update and improve curricula associated with this program. We will also build on existing strength by working towards the implementation of climate system science concentration. the department will continue to play significant role in the general education through the maintenance and improvement of geography (like physical Geography, Human Geography, Cultural Geography)   Our program and curricula will provide a balance of theory and technical skills, Equipping students with and academic background that make them able to address environmental, planning and other geographically oriented problems. We aim aid our students in developing the capacity for both innovative and integrative thinking in verity of professional’s intellectual context. in order to help realize this damaging sate of goals.
