Students who are eligible for any Government scholarship getting exemption from college fees should furnish all the documents as per Government guidelines.
If applications submitted after the last date, the Govt. authority disallows the scholarship or exemption. Any complaint made after 31st March regarding Government scholarships will not be entertained. Students can consult the Principal of the college for the clarifications in this matter.
Recently all the scholarship forms are filled on-line. The eligible students are notified about this and they are suggested websites so they can fill their scholarship forms within the scheduled time. After successfully filling on line forms, they have to submit the hard copies of their forms along with necessary documents in the college office.
Students should submit the completed form with the required signatures to the college office at the time of admission and an acknowledgement slip should be taken. Such scholarships are not given if students fail in the examination.
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE IN THIS COLLEGE ARE AS FOLLOWS:
  1. National Merit Scholarship (Central Govt.)
  2. Central Govt. Scholarship for students from Non-Hindi Speaking states.
  3. State Govt. Merit Scholarship.
  4. State Govt. Scholarship for students from rural areas.
  5. Scholarship for Physically Handicapped students.
  6. Scholarship for students securing more than 60% in Mathematics and Physics.
  7. Merit Scholarship based on income of the guardian.
  8. Central Government Scholarship for SC/ST/NT.
  9. Scholarship for wards of Freedom Fighters.
  10. Scholarship for students of other backward classes (OBC)
CONCESSION IN COLLEGE FEES
The Government offers several free-ships to eligible students as listed below. It is the responsibility of the students to fill-up on-line scholarship forms and to submit the hardcopies duly signed in the college office before due date & take the acknowledgement receipt.
EBC FACILITY
This facility is only for those students whose guardians have an income less than Rs. 100000/- per year. Applications in a prescribed format are made available in the college office up to 10th July and are to be submitted to the Zilha Parishad before 15th July through the college office.
The following documents should be attached along with the application form:
  1. Income- certificate of the guardian.
  2. Affidavit of the guardian if the student is from a rural area (Population less than 10,000)
  3. Income-certificate duly signed by the Sarpanch of Grampanchyat
  4. Income-certificate signed by a Gazette Officer/Special Executive Magistrate of Tahasil.
This free-ship is available only to those students whose guardians are serving in secondary schools & whose educational qualifications are SSC, D.Ed or ATC. The application for the free ship is to be submitted before 15th July.
Concession in Fee is determined to the wards of the guardians serving in M.V.P. Samaj & institutions (only for grant- in-aid units). The applications filled in and duly signed in the prescribed format are to be submitted in the college office.

STUDENT WELFARE SCHEMES
  1. ACCIDENT INSURANCE POLICY SCHEME
This scheme is governed by MVP Samaj, Nashik in collaboration with New India Insurance Company. All students admitted to college are eligible for this policy. In case of any accident, the compensation is paid to the student by the insurance company as per its rules.
  1. STUDENT WELFARE FUND
    1. MVP Samaj: this Scheme is governed by MVP Samaj Nashik in all its branches. It provides financial support to meritorious students who are economically backward. It also provides support to Alumni for further studies abroad. Disabled or blind students are also eligible for getting this financial help.
    2. University: this scheme is governed by Savitribai Phule Pune University by charging Rs. 10 at the time of admission. All the students are members of this scheme.
  2. POOR BOYS FUND
The students who are economically poor deserve to get financial help from poor boys fund of the college. Such promising and needy students are provided sets of text-books. The admission fees and examination fees are paid through Poor Boys Fund.  Some percentage of the examination fee is refunded to economically poor students.
  1. EARN & LEARN SCHEME
Late Karmveer Dr. Bhaurao Patil started the ‘Earn and Learn Scheme’. This is adopted by Savitribai Phule Pune University. Our college has been conducting this scheme successfully.  Needy & deserving students, who are desirous to earn while learning in the college, are allotted 2 hours work daily in the library or in the office and they are paid in cash.
N.B.: Circulars & Notices regarding all above scholarships, fee concessions & various Students Welfare Scheme are displayed on the notice boards from time to time. The Students are informed to read them carefully for necessary information and due date of the same.
