  • About the Department :
      The Department of Marathi  is one of the leading Departments of the college. The Department runs the Programmed in Marathi at undergraduate level. Apart from the academics, the faculty from the Department constantly keeps motivating students for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The teachers from the Department are very keen on developing the overall personality of the students and therefore keep them engaged in various activities run by the Department. Extra teaching classes are conducted for the weaker students to make the class homogeneous. To start M A in Marathi is one of the future plans of the Department.
Hundred percent of the faculty from the Department is research oriented. Dr. U.V. Sorate, Head of the Department, has completed her research leading towards Ph. D. and has published several articles in International Peer Reviewed journals. She is awarded  Kai.Suhasini Laddhu Purskar  -2007 ( M.Phil Thesis )  M.V.P. AKHIL Bhartiya Vaktruatav spardha mvp karandak vijete mahavidyalay working as team Manager and she is awarded  Rajyastariya Shaikshanik Karya Gaurav Purskar , Awarded by Dnyanoday Bahu Uddeshiya Sanstha, TakaliBhan Tal- Shreerampur, Ahemadnagar , Dated 13/07/2020. She is Worked  New  Syllabus arranged Sub-Committee  in Marathi ( SPPU,PUNE ).
Majority of the students from the college are guided and trained by her in Personality Development as well as preparation for entry in the Armed forces.
Prof.Dr. V.B.Rathod has also completed his research work and currently he is an approved Research Guide for Ph.D. course.  He has presented many papers in national and international seminars/conferences. There are one book published ( Banjara Bolicha Bhasha Shasriya Tulanatmak Abhyash ) .
