Department Profile
The Department of Geography established in 1984.
The Department of Geography has completed 35 years as a undergraduate centre offering B.A. Degree in Geography. Department of Geography also offers general level courses for F.Y.B.Sc.
Vision
“To train the students, farmers and nearby people about geographical and environmental knowledge with its applicability to solve their personal and community problems ”.
Mission
“Our mission is to identify and develop the abilities
of students for their personal, social and national
development”.
Objectives
1) To introduce the students with basic principles of Geography.
2) To acquaint the students to fundamental concepts of resources.
3) To make aware the students about problems of utilization and conservation of recourses in the view of sustainable development.
4) To offer theoretical and practical teaching learning experience.
