The University established ARC to support the research activities of academic staff and students in the College. So, the college has established Academic Research Committee under the guidance of BOD Savitribai Phule Pune University to support the research activities of academic staff and students. The ARC is the College research management body. It advises the Academic staff members on research strategies to be pursued, develops policy and reviews progress in these areas.

 AIMS AND OBJECTIVES :-

• To promote research opportunities to faculty members.
• To monitors issues relating to the quality of research at College.
• To prepare an annual report on its research activities.
• To provide guidance on the improvement of the College research performance.
• To organize the academic seminars based on research input for the faculty members.
• To support the academic members in publishing their research in appropriate Venues such as Journal, Monographs, Projects, Reports, Conference Proceedings etc.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COMMITTEE  :-

• The Coordinator of ARC should guide Faculties in the light of ARC
• The research performance of academic staff member is monitored and evaluated as part of the Staff development process.
• Academic staff members are required to supply full and accurate details of their research Outputs on an annual basis to the Coordinator of ARC.
• ARC encourages to the faculty members to do the research and apply to the different funding Agencies.
• ARC should familiarize newly appointed staff members with Policies and procedures regarding their roles and duties related to the research activity.
